Creative Hen parties are fun and relaxing. A great way of celebrating with friends and family.
We can cater for up to 30 guests in the studio, or you can order a takeaway kit to paint at your venue.
Choose from a large selection of pottery. Each hen can paint a piece of pottery for themselves or a tea set for the bride to be. Guests could also paint the bride a special and unique gift such as a horseshoe.
You can usually book a private room, which you can decorate, and you are welcome to bring your own refreshments. Allow 2-3 hours for painting.
The potter’s wheel can be booked for fun sessions during the painting time. Up to 6 people can have a go at one time, £25 each.
It’s also an ideal opportunity for all the hens to make a commemorative signing plate or fingerprint plate for the bride as a special keepsake.
To book, call or e mail or fill in the booking enquiry form. A non-refundable deposit of £25 is required to secure your date and then deducted off your total bill at the party.
We will contact you when your pottery pieces have been glazed and fire (usually 1 -2 weeks).
Private experience for Hen Parties
Bring your closest fiends together for a fun and relaxed private pottery wheel experience. The session is all about having fun, getting creative and having fun together. You will each have your own wheel and you will be guided through the basics of throwing clay. Expect plenty of laughs and a bit of mess!
Experience includes:
- Private session for up to 6.
- Friendly instruction and guidance throughout.
- Clay, all equipment and aprons.
Your finished pieces will be dried and fired in our kiln. When they are ready, you can collect your handmade keepsakes. Cost £315 for up to 6 people. To make it even more special, add a return and paint session at Barn Studio Ceramics to decorate your pot £15 per person.
